SPONSOR A CHILD IN THE ORPHANAGE TODAY

MUSLIMAH ORPHANAGE HOME is centered on helping orphan children not only for physical well being but also the spiritual, academic and psychological well being. This, we believe is paramount to mould the children to be worthy citizens with sound religious, technical and cultural training. In keeping with these beliefs, every child at the orphanage is provided with some form of education. Each child has a busy daily schedule which includes all the daily prayers.
Our mission is to make a difference in the lives of underprivileged and destitute children here in Nigeria.
· To raise the children to be highly responsible and productive member of the society in the environment for love and support.
· To treat the children as we would our own children with best Accommodation, health, education, vocational skills and recreation.
· To nurture and love the children and provide all the necessary physical, sociological, psychological and spiritual needs so that they grow in a healthy manner.
· To teach them Islam based upon authentic sources of Qur’an and Sunnah.
· To make the centre sustainable so a long-term operational model can be run.

MUSLIMAH ORPHANAGE HOME activities are focused on a number of major areas:
1. ACCOMMODATION; The orphanage home currently barely provides day to day and we are falling far behind. We will Insha Allah provide accommodation for the underprivileged and destitute children between the ages of 4-16 years, around the Northern part of this country which has been a major challenge since we do not have our own shelter.
2. HEALTH CARE The orphanage home provides free health care for the children in the in orphanage from medicine donated and the support from a local hospital in the community.
3. EDUCATION: Our children are sent to a good private schools to make sure about their quality education.
4. VOCATIONAL TRAINING; Apart from the free education and Arabic studies they are also taught to develop a skill that we help them become entrepreneur such as Sewing and shoe making.
5. BASIC NEEDS; Others are feeding and clothing which are basic needs of any human being. They need food to live and raise; they need clothes to clothe their vital bodies.
6. SPIRITUAL NEEDS: 5 daily prayers and Friday prayer. Madrasah for learning Qur’an, tafsir, Aqeedah, Fundamentals of Religion, Fiqh and Seerah.

PROPOSED SHELTER BUILDING FOR THE ORPHANAGE:
We have a big problem with a accommodation now as the kids only sleep in the local mosque here so we are soliciting for funds to help build a better shelter for these children and some sick ones in the community too.
The orphans need their own housing as it a basic need for the children to rest their bodies and to provide hygienic environment for the orphans.

CONSTRUCTION PLAN OF THE HOUSING
Land area: 60m x 60m
The land will consist of three hall blocks linked together with a central mosque.
The first block will be occupied with male orphan’s and the block will also have an adjoining block hall which will be occupied by the male handicaps or the sick who do not have home.
The second block of hall will be occupied by female children orphans and an adjoining hall which will have the women widows or any sick women.
Then the third building will be between the two blocking halls which will be a mosque and also serve as an Arabic school for the children.

COST OF BUILDING BUDGET
Sources of funds required to construct Orphanage building would be insha Allah, afforded by donators, contributors, governmental/private offices, business persons and other concerned parties.

Total of constructions of MUSLIMAH ORPHANAGE HOME would be at about $160, 000, - (One Hundred sixty thousand Dollars)

With the full completion of these structures, the order, sanitation and Islamic knowledge of our orphans will be greatly improved. It will greatly impact on our planning, coordinating, controlling and daily working of the orphanage. We have for the past few years dedicated our lives and our monies towards this noble cause. Now it’s time we seek assistance.
